Some jewellery tells a story. Cece Jewellery’s pieces live it.

For their hand-enamelled butterfly engagement ring, I created a VFX sequence where animated butterflies seamlessly emerged from the design itself—transforming delicate gold into something almost alive.

Using Cinema 4D and After Effects, I motion-tracked the footage to anchor the animation naturally to the ring. The lighting in the scene was carefully matched to the filmed environment, ensuring the butterflies felt like they truly belonged. Their movement followed harmonious, organic paths, enhancing the delicate, dreamlike quality of the piece.

The result was a spellbinding visual that blurred the line between reality and imagination. Cece’s audience loved it. Their socials did too.
